The purpose of this Policy is Platform members/visitors/users (collectively referred to as “Data Owner”) during the operation of the website (“Platform”) operated by Alce or produced by Alce during the use of the Platform by the Data Owner.

Which Data is Processed?

Information to be used and processed by a specific person is only possible if that person voluntarily enters data or gives her explicit consent in this regard. Entering data or giving explicit consent in this regard is an indication that the person agrees with the conditions stated below. Alce may process the personal data provided by the Data Owner for the following purposes:

  • Creation of membership registration and account and keeping related records,
  • Making use of the services provided on the Platform by the Data Owner, detecting system errors, monitoring the performance, and improving the operation of the Platform,
  • To carry out the necessary work by the business units to make the relevant persons benefit from the products and services offered by Alce, including the purposes of providing maintenance and support services and backup services,
  • Planning and execution of activities necessary for the execution of business processes and for recommending and promoting products and services to the relevant persons by customizing them according to the tastes, usage habits, and needs of the persons concerned,
  • To carry out the necessary work by the relevant business units for the realization of the commercial activities carried out by Alce and to carry out the related business processes,
  • Ensuring the legal, technical, and commercial-occupational safety of Alce and its business relations, and planning and executing Alce’s commercial and/or business strategies.

Personal Data is to be Processed in accordance with the Explicit Consent of Data Owners and Purposes of Processing

Within the scope of the explicit consent of the Data Owner, Alce is responsible for increasing the user experience by tracking the movements of the Data Owners on the Platform, creating statistics, profiling, direct marketing and remarketing, creating and transmitting special promotional offers to the Data Owner, and It will be able to process data and share this data with the parties we have contracted with, for the purpose of using the data obtained in this scope in all kinds of advertisement and material content. Personal data may be shared with Alce, company officials, shareholders, business partners, suppliers, legally authorized public institutions and organizations and legally authorized private institutions within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law. Personal Data Collection Method and Legal Reason

Personal data is collected through the Platform and electronically. Personal data collected for the above-mentioned legal reasons can be processed and transferred for the purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698 and this Privacy Policy.

Personal Data Obtained Before the Entry into Force of the Law

The data collected before the effective date of the Law (07.04.2016), the consents obtained in accordance with the law before the effective date of the Law, are considered in accordance with this Law unless a contrary declaration of intent is made within one year. In order for the consent obtained before the effective date of the Law to be in compliance with the Law, it must comply with the general rules of law and no contrary declaration of will has been made within one year.

Alce may change the content of this Policy at any time in order to keep the privacy data protection principles up to date and comply with the relevant legislation. Changing Policy; It is announced on the Platform. The updated version of the Policy is always available on the Platform. If the Data Owner continues to use Alce’s services or applications after the policy is changed, it is assumed that the Data Owner accepts these changes. The Policy modified by Alce becomes effective when published on the Platform.

Rights of Personal Data Owner

Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, Data Owners have the following rights:

  • To learn whether personal data about them is processed, to request information about it if their personal data has been processed,
  • To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with its purpose, to know the third parties in the country or abroad to whom personal data are transferred,
  • Requesting correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing and requesting notification of the transaction made within this scope to the third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,
  • Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data in the event that the reasons requiring its processing cease to exist, even though it has been processed in accordance with the provisions of the Law and other relevant laws, and requesting the notification of the transaction made within this scope to the third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,
  • Objecting to the emergence of a result against the person by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automatic systems and requesting the compensation of the damage in case of damage due to the unlawful processing of personal data. Alce will stop the processing of data as long as it cannot prove that there is an important justification for the processing of the data above the interests, rights and freedoms that it needs to protect, or legal claims are made regarding this processing.
  • In case of consent to the processing of personal data, it is possible to withdraw consent.
