Our Founder Cemalettin Denizoğlu

Born in Izmir in 1931, Cemalettin Denizoğlu completed his primary and secondary education in İzmir. He graduated from Yıldız Technical University (Istanbul) in 1952 with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering.

After the completion of his military service between 1952-1953, he worked at “Saim Gogen Consulting Engineering and Contracting Works” company between 1953-1958.

He obtained his MS degree in Electrical Engineering (Diplom-Ingenieur) at Darmstadt Technical University in Germany between 1958-1961. After graduation, he returned to Turkey and worked for 2 more years at “Saim Gogen Consulting Engineering and Contracting Works”. Then he went to Germany and worked at Siemens Erlangen between 1962 and 1964.

He served as the General Manager of ALCE for 30 years between 1968-1998. After transferring his operational duties to the second generation family members, he continued his contribution as the Chairman of the Board of Directors until his death in 2012.
